The customer would like to be able to add annotations to a Number on a gauge visualization.

Summary Add a native Multi-Card visualization to Displayr that allows users to create a responsive grid of cards from a table or other structured data source. Each card would represent a row or column of data and could display a combination of: Category or item name Primary value/KPI Secondary value or descriptive text Image or icon Accent colour Rank Optional link to another Displayr page or URL Cards should generate dynamically from the underlying data, rather than requiring users to create and position individual card objects. Use case We have a customer building an interactive brand-ranking microsite in Displayr covering 260+ brands across 20 industries. Their landing page needs one card per industry. Each card displays: Industry name Industry average for the selected measure Best-performing brand Number of brands ranked Industry-specific image/icon Link to the corresponding industry page A combo box lets the reader change the measure. The values on all cards then update and the cards automatically re-sort based on the selected measure. The whole card is clickable, allowing the visualization to function as both a data visualization and navigation interface. We can create this using a custom visualization, but Displayr currently has no native visualization that provides this type of multi-card layout. Proposed functionality The visualization would take a table or similar data source and create one card per row or column. Users should ideally be able to configure: Number of cards per row / responsive layout Card title Primary statistic Secondary statistic/text Images or icons Card/accent colours Sorting by a selected statistic Show/hide individual card elements Font, borders, spacing, padding and alignment Card links/actions Hover state Whether the whole card is clickable As with other Displayr visualizations, the cards should update automatically when the underlying data changes because of filters, weights, controls or other calculations. Why this would be useful Card-based layouts are increasingly common in dashboards and interactive reports because they let users quickly scan and compare multiple categories while providing more context than a conventional chart. A native Multi-Card visualization could support use cases including: Industry or category rankings Brand and product comparisons KPI dashboards Market or country summaries Portfolio reporting Survey segment profiles Navigation between dashboard sections Executive summary pages Currently, achieving this type of layout requires either creating many separate objects manually or developing a custom visualization. A native Multi-Card visualization would make these layouts significantly easier for customers to build and maintain without requiring custom code. The closest we can get are several number visualizations which can be expensive on performance. Can we create the functionality for users to create Combo Charts as you can do in PowerPoint, so that when it is exported as an editable chart to PPT it retains its formatting? !image-20230912-121806.png|width=654,height=614! We sometimes have users who want to show the Standard Deviation as an area chart, then a specific series as a line and another series as dots or columns. Can we give users the capability to layer multiple chart types in one single object/visualization?

The value currently only appears as part of the Hover text. Only Question labels appear on the Diagram itself.

A user has asked for the following additions to the Heatmap visualization: Ability to display the X-axis title and labels at the bottom (instead of only at the top). Ability to add a title/label to the frequency bar (Tidy bar). Ability to display labels inside heatmap cells in addition to frequency and ratio. Make table titles bold to improve visual hierarchy.

I am facing limitations with the current options for modifying the y-axis in visualizations. The only available options are to hardcode the min or max values or let the visualization auto-scale the axis. It would be beneficial to have more flexible options for scaling the y-axis to better represent data changes, such as wave-over-wave changes, without over-emphasizing them.

When displaying significance in charts, especially in wave-over-wave trackers, the letters accumulate and begin to overlap with other data labels. We need an option to wrap data labels so that they fit on the next line

When a user hover overs a column in a clustered column visualization, the entire series of hovers is shown. This is different than how the bar visualization works where just the bar that is hovered shows the hover information.

Can we allow users to dynamically show the column header or row header (a combination thereof) in Single icon number visualizations/pictographs? Currently the user has to manually type in the text above/below the chart or insert some r code to extract the label and then place it above the chart. It would be great if this can be more dynamic in the chart itself.

Currently, in bar and column charts, I cannot position the data label inside the bar either at the top, middle, or bottom; only outside.
