Sometimes users have a setup where they don't have Admin rights to update Q but they still receive prompts each time they open Q to upgrade when they are on an older version. This request is to be able to turn this off on a Customer Page. One option is to have a Windows-service-based auto-update feature so non-admin users could receive those (like some browser updaters, Acrobat, etc). Its a bigger challenge for devs I know, and customers would need to allow through firewalls any URL that it connects to for the source.

Offer monthly payment plan for Q so users can pay by direct debit and automatically renew without having to do anything.

Let users deactivate licenses from their Customer Page.

A user would like to be able to export a more detailed usage log of Q Transferable licences. They would like to see the time of check-in and duration to establish how many licences are in use and how often & when all licences are checked out.

The current Q invoice template includes the following line: You accept and agree to be bound by the Software License Agreement which forms part of this tax invoice and the services provided to you. The Software License Agreement prevails over all other terms and conditions. This implies that payment of the invoice bounds the payor to Q's Software License Agreement. For some resellers, this is a non-starter since they cannot police the end-users' usage of Q. (The end-users still agree to the Software License Agreement when they install the license). This feature request proposes a separate, sparingly used (ie: only when explicitly requested by the reseller) invoice template that EXCLUDES the above line from the invoice template. The goal is to allow resellers to pay for the licenses without agreeing to Q's Software License Agreement.

We would like Displayr employees to override the 14 day trial limit for Q trialists. Currently, we can only assign a license for 1-14 days, but there are some cases where we need to extend a trial for a customer. The only way around this is to create a $0 invoice with a specific time range to get around the limitation.

A user requested a streamlined process when her team members reactivate their Q licenses (upon renewal). Currently, users see a message with a link to their customer page. The team lead is requesting that the link be modified so that includes a path to the license page itself.

Sometimes a user payment is delayed and we need to override the Q account to allow them to continue to use their license. However, the override only works if they reopen their Q software before their Renewal/Due Date. Otherwise, they get deactivated and confused because their account was supposed to be overridden. This causes lots of confusion and is unrealistic when overriding very large accounts. Please let the local Q license expiration date check with online licensing even after the expiration date.

Add License cost excluding tax in Q licensing

To help match usage to a specific user, we could add a verification step to the license installation/ assignment process. For example, when users install a license, they must add an email. The license is only activated when the email is verified. This would also prevent having the same email attached to multiple licenses.
