Currently if a user goes to duplicate a question that’s used in a latent class analysis segmentation, they get the following error: {quote}You cannot change this question (QUESTION LABEL) because it is used in a tree variable (TREE VARIABLE LABEL). The easiest solution to this is to duplicate the question instead and then change its Question Type.{quote} The error message doesn’t offer instructions on how the user can fix the problem. Improving the error message with the specific instructions the user needs to duplicate the question will reduce confusion and give them the solution they need then and there.

When you currently import a data set with invalid variables, it just ignores them instead of telling you that they are invalid. There should at least be a warning.

We should have a global function which prevents or hides all R-based warnings without having to add extra R code. This could then easily be added to our R-based widgets as an option.

This warning is so subtle in Displayr that I initially thought I would be filling out a bug report, not a suggestion. Other warnings in Displayr are orange which is a little more eye-catching.
