Ability to add new Values to variables (metadata)

The user would like to be able to add answer codes to existing questions/ variables.
For example, a question has answer options of
One, Two, Three, Four in the Values/ Labels.
The user would like to be able to add additional codes (E.g. Five, Six…) to the answer codes to use as placeholders.

Add metadata to constructed variables

Constructed R and JavaScript variables only have metadata for categories that exist when the code runs. So if there is no data for a category, it doesn’t appear as a category in the resulting variable. Adding the ability to manually edit metadata to add empty categories to constructed variables would fix this issue.

Create a Rule Which Allows Users to Insert Missing Attributes
R

Currently, users have to request help from Support to insert missing attributes in the metadata if they don’t have data for that specific attribute. For example, if they are loading in an Excel file and they have a likert scale, but no one gave the value of “2”, they need to ask Support for a custom rule to insert the missing value. It would be nice to add this script to the rules library to allow users to easily do this themselves.
