This request is to develop a ChatBot feature on a published dashboard, similar to ChatBots common on many website. In this use case, the users would have the ability to ask the ChatBot some simple questions about the dashboard or the data. For example, where is the filter or how to use the filter using some preset text that already exists in a knowledge base, but also have the ability to answer questions such as “When was the data collected?” or “How was this data weighted?” which would require some answers to be customized by the client. Another example would be drawing conclusions on the data which would likely need to utilize AI.

I would like to have more flexibility for dashboard viewers when using AI to summarize outputs. It would be beneficial if viewers could point the prompt to any inputs, allowing for a more dynamic interaction with the dashboard.

Hi Rex,
At the moment we're focusing on getting the Edit Mode agent upskilled to do more things (e.g., ability to create and edit more types of object), but I know for a fact that there's a project to get a View Mode chat agent with access to the data and report into production too. In other words, it's coming, but I cannot say when.
