Some users want their built-in table sizes fixed in their layouts and scroll bars added if necessary. Currently this seems overly complicated where we try to guess/log if a user has manually resized the table and is a bit buggy/fiddley (I’ve put in a handful of bugs relating to table sizing and alignement in the past 6 months or so). For example, I don’t think if we resize a table then duplicate the page, the duplicated table is shown to be resized? Also when the table is filtered the table size also gets reset usually which users don’t always want. Can we just add a simple checkbox to indicate if tables should remain their exact size in Edit/View mode no matter if data changes?

As an example, some users setup reference pages to have tables aligned like so and want them to remain aligned.

The short of it is, even if you change the size to align together the tables can still resize and overflow when filtering. They also want stat testing results so you can’t use R to fix the size.
