A user recently mentioned that is a cumbersome process to share/restrict access to documents and dashboards with internal users and external customers.

The user mentioned "I’m trying to restrict access for documents. For our project teams, it is working fine with the guidance you sent (although a bit clunky). It would be great to have the function to do individual level restrictions etc. as it’s a bit of a pain atm.

We can do this by adding menu items in the documents tree, where a user can select an option to share the dashboard (if it is published as a dashboard). When they click share dashboard a menu similar to the Gong screenshot becomes available. Here you can add an email addresses of customers you want to share the dashboard with, it should also list the customers already having access to the dashboard, where you can easily revoke access by removing their email addresses.

Also, when publishing a dashboard in Edit Mode, you should be able to also add the relevant people you want to share it with.
