The Legacy Line Chart with tests allows users to modify the line type for each data series. See below example for Bupa with a dotted line,
The non-Legacy Visualization doesn’t have this option

Allow for individual series line type selection in visualizations
C
Contemporary Catshark
Currently, line visualizations don’t allow the user to select different line styles for each series in the visualization. Right now, every line in the visualization has to be the same line type, selected via the
Chart > DATA SERIES > Line type
menu in the visualization's settings. However, being able to select different line styles for separate lines is something one can currently do in PowerPoint. Our line visualizations should be updated to allow the user to specify line styles individually for each series in the visualization. Those line styles should also be carried through to PowerPoint exporting as well.

Built-in flexibility for formatting line styles in line chart
T
Typical Macaw
If a user wishes to set one line different to the others in a line chart, they need to do so via code. They would like to be able to do this built-in.
Of course, this then creates an issue for editable charts when exporting to PPT, as Microsoft doesn't allow different stying.

Allow simultaneous multiple line types in line chart
G
Gray Porcupine
The request is to allow multiple line types (solid, dot, dash etc) for line charts at the same time via the R GUI visualization menu. Additionally, being able to export this to PPT would be good too.
