We now support the ability to multi-select calculations or pages to toggle the Calculate Automatically setting. To toggle this for an entire document, simply select all pages and tick or untick the setting.

Check that the Calculations are Set to Automatic Upon Publishing a Document
F
Fit Cat
The customer asked if there was functionality whereby upon publishing a document there is some kind of check either automatic or a QScript that the user runs that can go through the document and check that the
Automatic
box is checked.Whilst the user was informed the onus was on the person creating the document to ensure that this happens it is a great suggestion.

Option to uncheck all automatic checkboxes

Linen Frog
This feature request is to provide the users with an option to turn or pause all automatic calculations on a page which would be useful when making changes on pages where there are a lot of calculated outputs.

Globally be able to switch off calculations

Lime Albatross
This user would like to be able to globally switch off calculations because her dashboard is running really slow and by doing this she can then select which calculations she wants to run.

Displayr: Turn ON/OFF re-calculating Calculations

This would be a similar function to the one available in Excel where a user can stop/pause calculations while working on a large document
For example, when a user is working on Edit mode a change in a Combo Box can trigger calculations to be refreshed. Depending on calculations this can take a while, slowing down the document and impacting the user experience. This is especially true when working with large data files.
We could add a feature that would stop/ pause all the recalculations if selected by the user. This would allow the user to work faster, without interruptions.
This has proved useful in Excel when changing one cell value could trigger time-consuming updates.

Allow Users to View Which Outputs Are Calculated Automatically

Denim Gecko
A user was looking for a way to double-check that all of their outputs have
Automatic
ticked for automatic calculations. This would be sort of a double-check to ensure that everything was updated before exporting.J

Script to calculate all outputs in one go

The user has unchecked automatic calculate on their outputs to speed up their document. They would then like a way to calculate all outputs at once. This would be akin to turning off automatic calculations in Excel and then using Calculate Now on the Formula menu to calculate the entire workbook.
