Easier merging of Nominal-Multi variable sets

More straightforward way to merge Nominal-Multi variable sets together. For instance, if variable labels don’t match, ability to manually match which variables to merge together. If code frames don’t match, option to merge using Values and prefer one set’s labels or add additional codes for labels that don’t match. For example the two variable sets had these two code frames with slightly different labels:

To merge them (after editing the variable labels to match), you have to convert to numeric then using Calculation > Maximum to get the value used, then relabel the code frame in the merged set.

User had separate nominal variable sets with the same value _labels_ but different underlying code values. They wanted to combine them into a Nominal-Multi but couldn’t because their underlying values were different. Would be nice to have the option - in the end used multiple R variables to do this. Here’s how it was coded:
