Perhaps an example would do better to demonstrate this.
Suppose the dashboard creator applies a filter to a PAGE in Edit Mode.
The dashboard developer, further, wants to have the end-users of the dashboard use PAGE FILTERS while in VIEW MODE.
If a PAGE has a filtered applied to it in Edit Mode, there is no such indication of the filter applied in the PAGE FILTER of the Dashboard when in VIEW MODE.
