We have this wonderful help article on how to https://help.displayr.com/hc/en-us/articles/360003358136-How-to-Create-a-Combo-Box-Drop-Down-Control-With-a-Dynamic-List. However, users find this to a large extent difficult to comprehend in apply in their Displayr Documents, especially those that do not know R Code.
Can we make it easier for users to build dynamic combo boxes, by for example allowing users to select two variables in their data set and point Displayr to the variable that is dependent on the other?
For example, the user has a _Country_ and _City_ variable. They select both variables and go to
Anything > Filter > Control
and a new option is available to them to Control with Only Relevant Values
(below is a screenshot of the functionality available in Tableau).
So, now when the user filters the first control box on a Country i.e. the US, they can see only the relevant US cities in the second control box.J
