They would like controls in the tree to sort, reorder and organize the variables and variable sets by the source variables used (so copies would appear near one another in the tree, for example). I’ve asked them for more info on what the tables component of this example would look like but haven’t heard back yet.

Customer wishes to add folders to the tree so he can place variables into folders in order to find certain questions more easily.

In Power BI it is possible to group together any variables that have been created into a folder.

This would be great if we could group any constructed variables, R variables, or JavaScript variables into a folder, so it was easy to locate them.

User would like to be able to create folders to house different varaible groupings within their Data Sets. This will improve user's workflow when they have a large volume of variables within a data set, and want to quickly reference either commonly used variables or certain types (i.e. weights, filters, banners, etc.). They see this working visually in the same way that Displayr groups variable sets

The trialist would like the ability to create a folder in Data Sets tree just the way you can in the Pages tree.

Displayr - User requested sub-folders in the dataset panel. For example a way of grouping variable sets together.

Workaround: Nothing that would represent “folders,” but the user can move variables around, albeit, this is a clunky process

User wants to be able to nest sections of variable sets, e.g. _Demographics_, within folders to make the tree easier to navihate.
