I want to display data showing the most recent data going back to the most recent occurrence of a point in the year. The point in the year could be a month, e.g., "January." Or, if within a week, "Monday." For example:

Specify that I want to show data for all periods after and including the month of July, for the most recent (or current) year only.

I do not want to have to specify the year.

Similarly, I might want to show data for the most recent week only, and so would want to show data going back until "Monday" this week and up until the most recent date in the data. I would not want to specify which week, month, or year.
