When you add a text box to a page master in Displayr, the box becomes static in Edit mode and is no longer editable, unlike the text boxes that are in the preconfigured page master pages. This means a user is unable to add text boxes in the page master that can be configured in Edit mode, greatly limiting the utility they can get out of the page master.
This feature would add the ability for a user to add text boxes to any page master that would have placeholder text in the page master view, but be fully editable in Edit mode, just like the boxes on our pre-built page masters.

The current workaround to add an editable text object in Displayr Master view is to copy and paste an editable text object from another page (or worse yet, another document). By “editable text object” I am referring to the “Click to add…” text boxed like shown below.
