Master Table Template
U
Umbral green Partridge
Like you can do with the charts, it would be nice to set up a template for Tables in the Page Master.
For example, I know I will always want data weighted, with certain statistics added, and rules applied. I know there is already a checkbox that I can apply to all tables, but it would be nice to add to the Page Master for all templatizing needs. I also cannot save a table format as a Template like I can do for charts.

Custom cell formatting to tables should allow being saved as a "table style" to use on other tables.

Table formatting controls / automation for text alignment in headers

It should be possible to either:
- Have a table template or default table set up with the header text alignment set to "bottom" which gets automatically applied to all new tables in a given document, OR
- Have a rule that adjusts the alignment of the header cells.
It is time consuming to change alignment for every table in their document.

Add ability to change and save default table formatting options
T
Timothy George
A user wants center-aligned cells for all tables, so he currently has two options:
1) Create tables and then change the horizonal alignment of each table's cells individually.
2) Create one table, change the horizontal alignment of its cells, duplicate, and modify (i.e., update variable set).
Users should be able to change and save default table formatting options somehow/somewhere (Page Master?).

Custom Default Table Style
A
Adam Gross
Suppose a user wants the following specifications of their default table:
Row headers:
Font: Bold, white
Fill: Blue
Column headers:
Font: Bold, white
Fill: Blue
Cells:
Font: Grey
Fill: Light blue
Etc etc.
Right now, the user can only select a default table style that is built-in already.
This feature request suggests a "build-your-own" default table interface that will allow users to create customized default table styles.

Allow custom Excel table styles as a table export option. The only table styles are the default Microsoft ones. Customer would like similar functionality to chart templates.
