It would be very helpful if users could select or filter content by clicking directly on a chart element, such as a bar in a bar chart, instead of needing to use a separate Combo Box or List Box control.

For example, in a page showing themes on the left and related verbatims on the right, clicking a theme bar should update the dynamic text and quotes automatically. This would make interactive dashboards feel much more natural and intuitive, and would also improve the visual design by removing the need for extra controls.

Ideally, chart clicks could be used as an input for dynamic text, filters, and other page elements in the same way that existing controls are used today.
