Automated email alert when data refreshes
backlog

Regardless of whether the data is updated manually or automatically / via API, the customer would like to have the option to trigger an email to users who have access to that dashboard. Additional features:
* Allow the subject line and content of the email to be specified
* Preferable to allow the user to edit their settings to subscribe / unsubscribe to such email alerts.

Automated alerts when dashboard updates

The general idea here is that anyone with permissions to a dashboard would receive an automated communication from Displayr notifying them that the dashboard has been updated. It would make the most sense to have this be something the admin of the published dashboard could enable or disable for the dashboard user group.

Clients are seeking a straightforward plug-and-play configuration that allows them to send project updates directly from Displayr to their customers, without the need for any API configurations. An example mentioned was 'Spotfire,' which offers this functionality.

Email viewers on document publish

Displayr users want to be able to automatically notify viewers when they publish a new version of their document. Obviously this wouldn’t be on _every_ publishing event, of course, but adding the ability to notify registered users via email of a new publishing version would simplify distributing new versions of a dashboard to viewers.
