If a user has combined many items in a table and makes a mistake or later decides to remove at least one of those items, they must Split the combined category and reset everything. Then, they must recombine the appropriate items, resulting in potentially a lot of rework.

We should give an option to split either 1.) all items, or 2.) give them the option to specify which item(s) to split from a combined category.
