Add axis lines to scatterplot
complete
S

Suppose we are creating a scatter plot (Visualization > Scatter > Scatter) with a table as an input. Users will often request that “mean lines” be included as an option. Meaning, the mean of the y-values are plotted as a horizontal grid line and same with x-values (as a vertical one).
As far as I know, this is not a feature.
This user, in particular, was requesting more flexibility than that. She wants grid lines at certain locations that were not necessarily the mean.

Add lines through scatterplot to turn into quad map
G
Gleaming Crocodile
Include option for adding lines through the scatterplot visualization to make it a proper quad chart. The best way to do this currently is to insert a line Shape and overlay it onto the visualization. However, these lines will not be dynamically repositioned when data changes due to combo box filters.

Ability to add an average line to the a Scatter Plot
S
Shamrock Cardinal
The user would like to be able to add the average value line to both X & Y axes of a Scatter plot.
Currently, the only way to do this is to manually add the line. However, this only works for a static chart.

This is now available in Displayr. See https://help.displayr.com/hc/en-us/articles/10837434721551-How-to-Create-a-Quad-Chart for how to add and customize axes on scatterplots.

Scatterplot with Dynamic Average Intercepts
F
Formidable Bee
This feature has been requested a few times but there is no way currently to have dynamic intercepts that can be controlled by a combo box so when switching the category the data changes dynamically. This can be done using ggplot but is not currently a feature in Displayr or Q. This is where the scatterpot is divided into Quads and the Quads move depending on the results.

Average lines in bubble charts

Flamingo pink Kingfisher
Is there a way to show up average lines on the X and Y axis dividing the chart area into 4 quadrants?
* The X-axis averages should be computed by averaging out the values plotted on X-axis.
* The Y-axis averages should be computed by averaging out the values plotted on Y-axis.

Add vertical and horizontal lines to visualization
I
Industrial Lark
This is most relevant for scatter plots, but can also be for line graphs as well. When creating quad maps (https://www.displayr.com/creating-quad-maps-in-displayr/), one cannot actually add in the vertical and horizontal lines to create the quads. These are done using line shapes so when data is updated they may become wrong unless axes are set. And when the scatter is moved also care has to be made in moving/resizing to make sure lines still line up. Adding vertical and horizontal lines can also be useful when graphing data against a threshold or other sort of limit on visualizations.

Add horizontal and vertical line to scatter for quad map

Add horizontal and vertical line to scatter visualizations (and probably line chart would be useful too). In this instance very useful because user is creating a quad map and wants to set custom horizontal and vertical lines not through the origin to signify the quads.
