There are objects like combo boxes, visualizations, or text boxes that make sense to show in a published document but either due to the content or the way they are exported need to be excluded from exports to Office or PDF.

Today hiding from one automatically hides from the other.

User says, “Regarding the Excel export of the page, we have a request from our client that if they have the flexibility to choose things which they want to export instead of exporting the whole page material. Or do we have an option in the developing phase to hide things from excel export?”

Hide objects from PowerPoint or PDF Export Only

In some cases, a user may want to permit dashboard viewers to manipulate an object in View Mode, but exclude this object from export if the viewer decides to later export the View Mode document to PowerPoint or PDF.
The inspiring use case is a combo-box that can take several values. When exported to PowerPoint, the combo-box will export as a text box including all the selected combo-box values, which looks ugly when exported to PowerPoint (and will often spill out of the text box).
This feature request suggests an option for objects to be published in View mode, but hidden when exported to PowerPoint / PDF.

Provide users the option to export only tables
Currently, Displayr exports Combo Boxes, Visualizations and Tables that are visible on pages. Can we offer users the option that when they export to Excel that they can only export all their tables (even if Hidden
) and not any visualizations or combo boxes?
Point below, as a user I have created a dashboard and I want to export the tables to Excel but I do not want to export the visualization and combo box, currently, I do not have this option in Displayr.
