Would like to be able to apply filters created from variables (i.e. Completes), before coding responses. Currently have to code everything even if we only need a specific status/time period/location.

Add option to filter responses within the coding module instead of having to pre-filter the text variable.

If a user wants to filter their data when coding they have to do this in the text variable itself. it would be better to do this in the interface instead.

Users often have the request that they only want to code certain responses but this always involves explaining to the customer that they need to create a a new JavaScript text variable and add a filter to the code. The end result is the customer should code this new variable instead.

Adding the ability to apply filters within the coding module would make this process easier, as customers typically want to code according to other responses or concepts shown, for example.

Users currently need to use code to filter text responses in order to only code certain records. It would be helpful to be able to apply a filter in the coding window as necessary instead of using code.

Customer would like a built-in method for filtering text variables either by a set range of records or a random selection.

Client is hoping to see how the respondent answered to other questions to help aid in context when coding.

The client described it as imagining coding in excel and being able to use autofilters to help contextualize the verbatim response.

Enable a filter application in the coding module to allow coding of specific records only. Currently you have to filter the text variable first.
