Ability to do "prior wave" significance testing for non-date variables
backlog

User wants to do significance testing for tracking studies that only compares to the prior wave, but their waves are irregular. It would be immensely helpful to our clients with tracking studies if there was an option (arrows and font colors) to compare against the prior category only.

Statistical testing option to compare to previous column

For non-date questions in the brown dropdown, have ability to compare to previous column like you can with date questions (which is previous period). User has a question with various overlapping date ranges and they wanted to test the columns to the date range in the previous column. Essentially the question below, but for tables where it is used in the columns:

Currently they can only do this - sort of - using custom column comparisons which annotate either column that is larger, and not the up and down arrows which show both higher and lower significance on the “right” column - which the user prefers.

Stat test against previous column without date/time

I think this might be in the plan now, but putting in another FR just in case!
Customers want to be able to stat test against the previous column/column to the left without requiring a Date/Time variable. This would be extremely useful for when they track their survey using Wave nomenclature, have irregular or overlapping dates stored as a categorical variable, or have regular dates with special labeling (i.e. Q1, Q2, etc) stored as a categorical variable.
The workaround for this is confusing and requires lots of custom code: https://help.displayr.com/hc/en-us/articles/4546947577871-How-to-Test-Against-the-Previous-Period-without-a-Date-Time-Variable

Stat test previous column setting

Many clients like to use nominal wave variables instead of date variables in trackers, but they want to stat test to the previous period. Can there be a setting that _stat tests to the previous column_ setting in addition to previous period and rest of the data? This seems to come up fairly often and the user then has to do a lot of coding (convert wave to fake date, then to date var, then somehow relabel the column headers using (usually) support written custom rule on the table).

variable.
