Users would like to password-protect the dashboard so that multiple people can access it in View mode simultaneously without the need to register for a Displary account.

Add comments in View Mode (as we are doing in Edit mode) Let's say you want to share the first iteration of a dashboard with your client. You might want them to comment on all the changes they would like to make directly on the iteration, instead of taking screenshots, copying to PPT and commenting in there.

User requests that end-viewers can create a section for "favorite pages"

While in View Mode, Currently there is no way to suppress or disable Export to PDF/PowerPoint/Excel > Advanced Options > Export reports with selected filters. This feature request is a suggestion to allow dashboard builders to suppress this feature.

The general idea here is that anyone with permissions to a dashboard would receive an automated communication from Displayr notifying them that the dashboard has been updated. It would make the most sense to have this be something the admin of the published dashboard could enable or disable for the dashboard user group.

A client recently expressed excitement about the Gen AI capabilities that Power BI has introduced, such as a new feature that allows viewers to interact with outputs through a chat function. They feel this would greatly enhance our dashboard capabilities.

This can be achieved by creating a Combo Box filter. However, a user asked for the option to do this using Page Filters in View mode.

The user wants to be able to collapse filters shown in the header of view mode (published dashboard) by variable. For example, if the list of filters is long, they want to be able to collapse sections (e.g., Age, Income, Gender, Living Arrangements, etc.). See image for details.

A user would like to be able to publish a Document for a specific time frame only. For example, they would like to share the Dashboard for six months only.

User states: We really like the idea of the new views feature, we see a lot of potential amongst our clients but it doesn't quite meet the main needs we are seeing asked for/anticipate being desired. I'll try to keep this presented as challenges to the current setup rather than provide suggested solutions, but please let me know if more specific suggestions on implementation would be helpful. Having the list be shared amongst all users presents a few challenges: Deletion of a view removes it for all users -“ Users will have a tendency to want to refine the list to just those that they find useful. Addition of a view adds it for all users - With a large user list having access to the same views list this can get unwieldy very quickly. Inability to set/reset the views centrally for users - If a user requires one or more views they deleted to return without impacting others they have created, there is no central way to do this. For new users, having a default starter list would be helpful, without overwhelming them with a large list of those created by peers. (Minor) No ability to "lock" views from being deleted - It could be helpful at times to turn off the ability for certain views to be deleted It could also be beneficial for users to have these set up as bookmarks that work across pages, and shareable to other users.
