Combo Boxes are one of the most frequently used features for View Mode users in Displayr. However, when working with long lists of items, they can be difficult to navigate. Users must currently scroll through the entire list to locate and select the desired item, which is inefficient and error-prone.
To improve usability, please make Combo Box menus searchable, allowing users to type and have the item list dynamically filter to matching entries. This “typeahead” or “filter-as-you-type” behavior already exists elsewhere in Displayr (and Q)—for example, when searching for variables in Table > Rows and Columns or for outputs in Combine Table, users in Licensing settings.
Though this may appear to be a small enhancement, it would significantly improve the user experience, especially for documents containing long or complex lists.
